Find your path
Which parent are you today?
Every family comes to us at a different stage. Choose the path that reflects where you are right now.:
I think something & different, but I m not sure
Your gut says something is off. Teachers say & they ll catch up but you're not convinced. You're looking for answers.
Parents who choose this path often say:
• Reads below grade level despite effort
• Homework takes hours but nothing sticks
• Smart in conversation, struggles on paper
• Teachers say 'not trying hard enough'
My child has been diagnosed. Now what?
You have a report. You have the word & dyslexia. But no one told you what to actually do next — or in what order.
Parents who choose this path often say:
• Have a psychoeducational or SLP report
• School isn't providing the right support
• Tried tutoring — not working
• Child is losing confidence fast
We've been in therapy but progress is slow.
Your child has been working with someone, but the reading hasn't really clicked. You're wondering if there's a better approach.
Parents who choose this path often say:
• 6+ months of support with limited gains
• Child knows letter sounds but can't blend
• Reading and spelling are still inconsistent
• Child is anxious or avoidant about reading
I want to support my child at home.
Whether or not your child is in formal therapy, you want to do something meaningful at home that actually helps — not worksheets.
Parents who choose this path often say:
• Want 5-minute daily activities that work
• Need to know what NOT to do at home
• Want to understand what the therapist is doing
• Child gets frustrated when you try to help

For Parents
You're not failing your child.
Their brain just needed the right map.
Indian parents of dyslexic children carry an enormous invisible weight — the pressure from
school, the fear of falling behind the guilt of not knowing what to do. We built LIT5 with you inmind, not just the child.
Worried about school performance
We track curriculum vocabulary, academic language, and classroom reading demands alongside literacy skills. Your child progress connects directly to their school day.
Multilingual family?
LIT5 is built for Indian learners — we account for Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and other first-language patterns that affect how English phonics is learned. Speaking another language at home is a strength, not a barrier.
Child is anxious or avoidant
Shame and reading anxiety are addressed directly in our approach. Sessions are structured to feel safe, not like tests. Many children who hated reading begin to enjoy it by Level 3.

Questions From Parents
Things parents always want to know
Q -
A -
My child recites well. can they still have dyslexia?
Yes — and this is one of the most common missed presentations in India. Children who grow up in rote-learning environments can mask significant phonological weaknesses through memorisation. They can recite the alphabet and repeat words correctly while having almost no ability to decode a new word they& you've never seen. The LIT5 assessment specifically tests manipulation — not memory — to see past this.
Q -
A -
Is this programme only for children who speak english at home
Absolutely not. LIT5 was built with the Indian multilingual context at its core. We account for first-language phonological patterns (Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Marathi and others) that affect how English sounds are perceived. Speaking another language at home is a strength, not a barrier.
Q -
A -
How long until you see progress ?
Most families see measurable change in the first 8–12 sessions — not dramatic transformation, but clear, trackable progress in specific skills. Full level progression typically takes 3–6 months
depending on starting point, session frequency, and carryover at home. We track data every session so you're never guessing whether it is working.
My child is already in class 7. is it too late
Q -
A -
It is never too late. Adolescent brains remain highly plastic for literacy learning, and older children often make faster gains because they have more world knowledge, stronger motivation, and better metacognitive skills. Many of our older learners enter at Decoder or Reader level and reach Thinker or Writer within a year.
Q -
We've been doing phonics already. why isn't it working
A -
Standard phonics programmes assume a phonological foundation that dyslexic children may nothave. LIT5 begins with phonological processing (the sound level), not print. If the phonological layer isn' solid, phonics instruction doesn't stick. Our assessment identifies exactly where the breakdown is happening.

Can i be involved in the programme as a parent
Yes — parent involvement is built into LIT5, not bolted on. Monthly carryover coaching gives youspecific activities matched to your child's current level. These are short (5–10 minutes), oral-first, and designed for non-specialists. We also share progress summaries after every 6 sessions.
